Except that dust can be removed or prevented prior to taking photographss and spotting with the spot healing tool in CS2 can be made invisible. Thanks for the links, the madcat one looks like it could be useful in some circumstances.

No I sold it to a bloke in Swindon. I think one Chines bloke was put off by the idea of it being uninsured and him having to pay import tax and the other 2 were dodgy.

Well I sold it for just short of £270 which is a bit less than I would have liked but more than I thought I would get initially.

Thanks all for the views and diversions. As far as I know there aren't any on ebay at the moment so now might be a good time to put it up. I looked there before asking the question here because I know that what I want for it and what I get might be worlds apart. I suppose £300 would be a good price so I think I'll put it up with a reserve a bit lower and see what happens.

Thanks for the answer. I thought I would be lucky to get £100 with the way things are now which wouldn't be worth selling it. I do like it but I want to buy the new 16-50 DA* lens for my Dslr's so some stuff has to go.

It is in very good condition. It's just the body with data back, boxed and with all caps etc.

I find that using the MZS is not as intuitive as the Z1. I prefer the shape of the MZS but I don't like the grip which I find doesn't suit my hands. I like that the controls for different settings are all on the body with the MZs but it only takes a few minutes to work out how to get at the settings for the Z1 then they become second nature. I wish that the Z1 had the AF system of the MZs but the controls for it are in a stupid place (in my opinion) and I tend to just use the central sensor with my other cameras so I suppose I am not really missing anything with the Z1. I just found that when I wanted to use a film camera instead of digital the Z1 was the one I went for, well still do.

Hello all. I've had an MZS since 2003 that I have only used very rarely. I think I've used about 12 films with it because I tended to use my Z1 then got an *istD. With so little use it is in very good condition so I am thinking of selling it, probably on Ebay. Any ideas on a fair buy it now price would be helpful.

Well I bought Brians lens and the weather was OK today so I took it on a family trip to Speke hall. I am very pleased with it, even used handheld to photograph subjects I wouldn't usually use it for. Here are a few examples from today, no works of art just a few happy snaps.

I think this is a really good set. I especially like the first and the fourth. To me the first is more effective than the second by a bit but the buildings in the background appear to be sharper in the second. Because of this and I know it sounds a bit perverse but I would be inclined to cut the top third off No 1 just to see what happens to the composition. I think the rocks, the sea and the light from the sun would make a strong picture on their own. Just an idea as I think the original is fine in it's own way. No 4. I wish I had taken it.
