I was hoping it'd be more competitively priced so the 'layperson' would at least deliberate over purchasing, considering most will have to factor in dev/scanning costs.

That said, I do also appreciate smaller-scale runs of equipment plus their significant R&D costs, so I can understand whence the price stems.

Edit: Having watched some of the videos with their features, and the capabilities of the lens, I can see why they could market it as a more premium price, despite it 'just' being a half-frame camera.

Received in excellent order, reuniting me with a lens I shouldn't have sold!

Abysmal response, in my opinion.

I can appreciate their view if it is “it worked when it left us and now it doesn’t while it’s with you”, but they are advertising warranties with goods without seemingly attempting to honour those. Also, in my opinion, even if something works when it’s left their site and it fails shortly after receipt by the recipient, it suggests it wasn’t working as it should beforehand.

Offering a discount on a future purchase over £250 is frankly insulting given their lack of support.

I don’t think I have bought anything from them previously but I’ll be thinking twice before I do (read: before I don’t).

I used to have one, sold it when I switched to Sony then started using my film cameras more...

Seconding the above comment. It sounds like a complete bargain when you look at the camera for ~50% of the current lowest new price I can find, plus 2 lenses and a flash for only an extra £70...

If I was in the market for a Pentax DSLR, I'd have taken it by now.
