I'd go for the 16/45!.......when and what would you shoot @2.8?....a narrow depth of field ,dont think I have ever used my 16/45 any wider that 5.6!.....you get wonderful sharp shots, wonderful colour and contrast with the 16/45 so it gets my vote..........

Have you got the 1.7 version?..............It is a superb lens that can be picked up for around £40/£60...it's worth a shot as it is razor sharp.......Ken
