Nice set Barrie!...it's nice along there!....bit dodgy getting down to the river though...you have to cross over and go down the high side of the arches!

I love the walnut whip embedded in the trunk!

Whitby's always packed but when The Goths are there its Sardinesville.
Should be okay in the cafe for early bacon butties though.

the a77 will be interesting, but sony like pentax lack long lenses.
Sony have the 70-400mm .. that would do me nicely.

As for the K-5 being a dust magnet, have seen that reported 2 or 3 times at the most whereas all the rest in the list have been reported on several occasions.
I wonder how many have tried a skyward shot at F22?

What I think is that if you pay £1000 for anything,it should work properly!...

Down at the Foxglove Covert meet last weekend,4 of the gathered clan had the K5. I've been on the edge in the buying stakes for some time now, will I ,won't I?.....it's a tough decision, and I still can't make my mind up!.The size bothers me,it is very small,I would need to purchase the grip as well, that would set me back another £219...wow!.Another factor is the quality control, out of the 4 K5's ,all had been returned, and replaced by new cameras!....One member is on her 4th!,2 with staining issue's,and one with a sensor that was a magnet for dust,so bad that she has the DA 300 on it ,and dare not take it off!.I think I will just stick with my K20 for the moment!
