Those coatings are pretty good, and make a lot of 3rd party lenses look pretty bad in flare control IMO.

I think I saw an A 50mm f1.2 approaching £200 recently, I'd be amazed if anyone got the K series for much less.
In both series they would have been a rare lens. The K 50mm f1.4 would have been the standard 50mm in that series, in the A series the f2/1.7/1.4 would have sold in far greater numbers.
I thought they were more!
If I'd find one for that price, I'd probably buy it straight away...

SRS didn't have the above lens after all so I'm back on the hunt for a manual 24mm f2.8

In general, from what I have read, the 85/1.9 is regarded bit less than it's f1.8 cousins.
But Taks 85/1.8 and K85/1.8 are regarded better than M85/2.
So how do these two "underdogs" compare?
Which is better? (sharpness, contrast)
