I did say that the more contentious parts of the act hadn't been used yet. Try and keep up.
Let me explain - when I said "any chance of a realistic example?" I intended for you to provide a scenario in which you believe that these powers would/could/should be available and used. Is that clearer? Try and usefully contribute.

Beautifully put, George, as usual. We didn't get a realistic example, either.

The one of the rear of the ship and its logo reminded me of:

"I work for Cunard."

"Well, I work hard too, there's no need for bad language!"

The Civil Contingencies Act permits the police to do pretty much anything they like, without any consequences. They can ... turn you out of your house with two minutes notice, bulldoze it, thank you for your cooperation, and walk off leaving you looking at the rubble. They would not have to pay a penny in compensation either.
No chance of a realistic example of these alleged draconian powers, I suppose?

A DSLR use computer material and there for falls under the act I can not see any reasons why not.
That's because you don't choose to see why not. A DSLR is not a computer for the purpose of, or within the spirit of, the Act. It simply isn't and you just need to accept that.

It doesn't need a test case to establish something generally regarded as fact, but I suspect that this will rumble on until that happens. Until then, it's all just wild speculation.

The whole issue of cameras being computers is a non-starter, BTW. The Misuse of Computers Act was never designed for the application suggested, nor will it ever be used or interpreted in that way.

Anvh here's your link.

Well, good luck! The price of coal shovels nowadays is getting to be a joke. Used to be when you could get a new suit, a pint of beer, pie and chips, a coal shovel and change from a fiver!

Great shot, Kris and well done on the inclusion.

Having visited the PPG to view the picture, I'm reminded why I don't like Flash sites and how it must be one of the least friendly, over-designed, slow, irritating and clunky ones I've seen - yuck!

That may be so, but you'll get little sympathy or co-operation if you berate members for not doing something you want when you don't provide the means to easily do it. Also, perhaps we're doing something else on Sunday evening?

I'm not a fan of Flash sites, but this is a personal thing and not a reflection about any particular site.

In your portfolio pics, the landscape shots are cropped by the player, never good, but particularly affecting the back-to-back girls adversely.
