If you are willing to split, what is the tripod that you are selling, and how much would you want for it? Pictures would definitely help!

M42 would be a screw mount iirc, but see what you mean about the little lever. My tubes do have the lever, as I can only put them back into their case a certain way. Maybe send them an email - I have done this week about a lens, and they are very helpful people.

They look like it - I haven't got mine with me to compare as am away from home. They're certainly listed under the Pentax MF section, and look the same as mine!

I got some manual Pentax ones from ffordes last year - they have some listed at £25 now, the same as I paid for mine. Very helpful there, and I think about £3 postage on top. I've been really pleased with mine - I was wary of cheap ebay ones and the genuine ones are only a few pounds more.

I'm getting my dad to dig out all his old Pentax kit, since he moved to N***n, so will see what I can get my hands on from him before I make any decisions! That might avoid the need for any budgetary considerations

I currently have a 50mm f2 lens which I use quite happily with my K200D. I've had it since my 14th birthday (along with the K1000 that it came with). I'm thinking of changing it for another 50mm lens, either the f1.7 or the f1.4, mainly to use with some extension tubes that I bought, but I've also found the f2 to be a very good portrait lens.

Can I get some opinions on the f1.4 and the f1.7 options on the 50mm lens. I've found both M and A versions of these - which is preferable?

Hi All,

I have a friend who is looking to get his first digital SLR. He has seen my K200 and quite likes it, and has also been looking at K10 and K20 options as well. He's looking for a set up with the standard kit lens and possibly a longer zoom lens.

If anyone has any of the above for sale, please let me know - he seems keen to get Pentax kit, so I'm trying to help him out.

Oh and if anyone has any extension tubes (preferably Pentax or Hoya) I'm looking for those having missed out of late!
