Does that mean the 18-55 is also retracted?

Well I found focus peaking very helpful in situations when you can barely see through the viewfinder itself, and when you do shoot with LV off, it hunts a lot less than my K-r used to.

I just bit the bullet and went for the K-30, haven't had a chance for a proper play with it, but the AF thus far seems all good!

Hmm true.. I do like the concept of having more control at your fingertips, but then again I've never owned a DSLR with a top LCD, not sure how much I want/need one.. Although the extra £50 cashback (expiring soon? :/) is an additional incentive..

Limited in what way? My biggest niggle is just the AF to be honest, but obviously there is a steep price gap between the K30 and the K5II

True, but in my experience with the K-r, even with AF assist, focus is still woefully slow and often inaccurate.. hopefully this isn't the case with the K30
