My understanding is that most lens will focus a little past infinity to allow for expansion and contraction, OK in normal use but it creates problems with stars

I am considering buying the K7, primarily for its live view focussing ability, as I am interested in astro-photogaraphy, and focussing accurately on the stars through the view finder is not easy.
So how does focussing by live view compare with using the viewfinder?

I may be having a senior moment here, not entirely unrelated to the bottle of wine in front of me, but where exactly in the weekly competitions page can I find the list of previous topics?

When I won a few weeks ago, I carefully typed my comments in to the winow provided, pressed for the preview and then managed to lose the lot. It was 1.00am by then, so the next morning I repeated it in Word before pasting it in to the window.
The only problem was that it would not accept the underlining and I had to redo that bit.
Two questions: Is there an easier way? and secondly, is it possible to see a list of previous topics to avoid repetition?

I clearly have not been paying enough attention to the forum of late - the August meet went under the radar. I live near Totnes and would enjoy a meet. Any others planned?
