Try focusing on infinity manually whilst the camera is set to AF. I've never had any problems. It wasn't made for such short lenses anyway.

Good the built in AF takes a bit of getting used to, it works quite well though. You may occasionally have to tweak it with the focus ring on the lens.

I usually switch AF off at the camera and focus manually.

But he shoots with a Pentax??? Would a quair shoot with a Pentax??

If anyone outside the UK's wondering what we are going on about
it's based on two characters from the show who keep asking if
certain famous people are quairs. Unfortunately you have to
see the show to appreciate it.

Good shots, I didn't realise how tame they can be until I saw
them on Autumnwatch a couple of weeks ago.

a touch screen... set to focus, you tap the screen anywhere it focuses right there.
set for spot exposure, you tap the screen it spot meters right there...
The cheaper Sony cameras also do that. I've got an old DCR-TRV33E that does it. I would expect it to appear on a Sony first. I'm not sure that we need it though you can do it quicker through the optical viewfinder.

Exposure bracketing in MANUAL would be nice!!

Kodak used to be made up with a 1% increase in market share in a single year

The supermarkets increase like for like sales with "Buy One Get One Free" offers. Maybe Pentax are going to do the same

Good Luck to them anyway I hope they make it
