John, thank you for your reply, I think your suggestion of the bear story is a very good idea.

I need to go back to them and ask them to expand a bit on their ideas so I can have a better idea of what they are looking for.

I am used to teaching adults every thing from what the PASM dial is for right up to posing and how to set up studio lighting .so when I was recently asked I agreed to help, a charity group that gets youngsters from around the world together to help foster international understanding of different cultures and so on.

I have now had from the charity a specific request for a group of 20 mixed age, gender and nationality kids.

The request is to help show them "something along the lines of ‘how to tell a story with a photo’. Some kind of storyboard/narrative training." so once they have all gone on their separate ways they can take this kind of images at home and send them back to the charity.

Given I don't shoots for editorials or for the press, story telling with images is a bit new for me; any suggestions of reading matter or any other help for this would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2 year old Metz CL45 Flash unit digital version with all the mounting brackets cables hot shoe module, wide angle diffuser, Metz additional pop on diffuser, 2 battery packs for AA bats and the charger and original packaging.
There is NO Ni-cad battery pack, it failed and I have not replaced it as I use the AA holders.

I would like to swop this very powerful and surprisingly wide angle flash for a lighter Pentax fit flash of any brand.

or possibly anything else some one might want to swop for?

I am having problems with the bulk and weight of this unit due to advancing arthritis.

No John, there was no doubt or ambiguity about either my question or his answer and I never mentioned the K5 or either of the new K5 versions.

I went this afternoon into a Jessops store in the centre of Bristol [camera chain store for non UK readers] and there were the usual weekend reps there from all the big names and for once a Pentax man in a white Pentax shirt with a k30 hanging round his neck.

I asked him if there were any of the new X5 bridge camera in to look at and he looked confused then said no that one has been discontinued .

I queried that since it is a new model abut he insisted it is discontinued, thats funny I said because Bristol Cameras [a opposition store 2 blocks away has had them for 3 weeks] has them in stock and he said that's just old stock.

So either he knows something we don't or he is the worst salesman Pentax UK have ever had.

Hi does any one recognise this quick release plate? I am trying to find a spare plate only.
It is supposd to be from a English mfg of tripods but their other products have been described on some forums as copies of famous tripod brands so I was hoping this might be to, especially as they say they have no spares.

Any one got a contact name that will work to find out from Pentax where my missing K-r rebate money is?
I have phoned before and been told "the cheque is in the post" that was 2 weeks before christmas, so I realy don't want to speak to him again and I could quite frankly do with the cash.
