Twin Cylinder oil/diesel fired and used for many things over the years before being restored and fired up every day . This 16 ton Crossley mammoth was made in Manchester in the 1920s, shipped out here and runs as smooth as my triumph , yeah really.

Currently touring the Darling River NSW, its in flood and making things difficult.
This bridge only used for foot traffic now, brought over by ship and transported up the darling by steamer


the bridge is in Bourke, Gateway to the outback


That should explain a few details.

The bridge has been exposed due to very low water levels in a local dam (40%)


Amazing how the timber survives after being submerged since the early 50s


they trim the tops off the emerging timber to make it safe for skiing but this has gone to far.
