I enjoy taking photos of churches, and this little gem was hidden away behind trees and houses, next to the RAF base near Wendover in Buckinghamshire. Not surprisingly, the churchyard contained many memorials to deceased military personnel.

All were captured using some recent Pentax gear: a K-70 and the 28-105 mm zoom lens. In #1 the surrounding trees are very close, so that one is a composite of four images at 28mm stitched in Microsoft ICE. #2 was almost facing the sun, so it was shot in the camera's Auto HDR mode. The images were adjusted in PaintShop Pro X8.

Cheers.

Thank you both.

The Listed Building text reads: 'Parish Church. 1813 by Henry Rhodes, restored and remodelled 1886-7. Built from squared blocks of sarsen or greyweather stone, probably from near High Wycombe, the joints galletted with pieces of flint. Slate roofs. Simple lancet style...'

Cheers.
