Thanks for the kind comments. It was certainly fantastic sight, almost looking too unreal at the time. Frantic dash along the sea front by the assembled photographers to catch the moon in the optimum position above the castle! I used PhotoPills to plan the shot but there’s always a bit of uncertainty about your position when the event happens.

This is a composite of two exposures taken consecutively with one exposed for the castle and one for the moon
