Underneath the arch

The Milky Way arches over one of the telescope observatories in La Palma, Canary Islands. Many photographers make the night sky and Milky Way very blue. This shows the milky way in it's truer brown colours. Mosaic of 45 frames taken with a Pentax K1 camera and 35mm lens. This is a sub-sampled 1/4 resolution of the full resolution mosaic. Thanks for all the kind comments. It's always lovely to be able to capture the fantastic night skies in La Palma and Tenerife. Even better is not having to suffer freezing cold nights doing astrophotography in Britain and Ireland!
