Ruined Castle

by ForgottenHeritagePhotography

A truly stunning abandoned site in North Wales. A castle built in the early 1800's as a fantastic residence but one which has now been allowed to fall into ruin since 1985 after a series of corporate owners failed to convert it into a luxury hotel complex.

A fine shot. Very dramatic.
Best wishes,

A sad scene indeed!

It's about to be renovated Into a luxury hotel complex.
I quite like the look of buildings in a ruined state, certainly adds interest from a photographic point of view.

I hope they don't ruin the ruin, the overall appearance needs to be retained

I have passed that castle many times and wondered what it was like inside. It is a really dramatic location. I always thought it was a strange place for a castle though, under a rock face. Well done for getting this view.
Best wishes,
David W
