To Montepulciano
by GIULIO57
Hand-held camera on monopod: Pentax RZ 18. Country-road to Montepulciano. A strange moment of light a few months ago. It's not possible to drive in this country-road for snow, in these last days!!

Simple and powerful. It's all about the clump of small trees and the cloud.

This is a beautiful scene Giulio, the light is wonderful and the trees remind me of a couple in love who are overlooking the valley below.

I knew this was yours as soon as I saw the thumbnail! Your trademark is the layering of colours and textures in a vertical plane and this one is no exception!
It is truly beautiful.

I like your poetic words. A lot of times I think the same when I'm travelling in the country and I meet these Guardians. A famous Italian Poet Giosuč Carducci wrote beautiful words about cypresses in Bolgheri(close to Livorno). Search on Google: Carducci and Bolgheri. The poetry is "Davanti a San Guido".
