Lovely shot Maria, starlings although common in some areas have beautiful colours in their plumage and this sometimes goes unnoticed.

You've caught a deep, rich gloss both to the colours and the markings... very striking...

Yes i have Andy, early Christmas present but i couldn't leave it all wrapped up now could i ?

Beautiful capture and presentation of a highly detailed bird.
Congrats on your new lens, Maria. I had so much fun last winter capturing bird shots from my house windows with this lens that was my early Christmas present, too.
