I like the stone out of focus in foregroung. This is the pillar that introduces the rest of the photo. Great compo. Great BW

steps and door are pretty captivating, .. and they evoke me same fascinating question as Patricia , but doesn't the handrail in the foreground take a bit exaggerated part in the frame ?

Great composition, perhaps a bit more of the arch above the doorway would have been nice though. The foreground being OOF is a slight distraction for me, and I think the exposure could do with being reduced half a stop; that could be my monitor, though, as I've thought the same about the last 3 images I have seen in the gallery
