Ramshaw Rocks
by sandinista
Ramshaw Rocks along with The Roaches and Hen Cloud form a gritstone escarpment which marks the south-western edge of the Peak District. Best viewed together from the approach along the Leek road, they stand as a line of silent sentinels guarding the entrance to the Peak District, the rock weathered and worn into fantastic shapes by the elements over millenia.

I recognised that inimitable style - lovely colours and dramatic sky.

A good lead-in with the path. Nice warm, saturated and clear colours. The dramatic sky adds to the composition.
