Chuff, Chuff....

'The Fellsman' and 'The Sherwood Forester'. An unexpected treat whilst visiting my parents in Appleby, Cumbria. Took various shots from different angles but liked the 'plume' angle best.

Cheers Phill. He was one of those 'should I, shouldn't I'? characters. I'll give it a go

why is there always a day-glow orange person in the way on train shots - happens to me all the time

Nice one Zed

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

This kind of reminds me of the cover of one of these old Ladybird books from the 60's! You should be "chuffed" with this photo, Zed!!

Probably the perfect steam train pictue. Why not leave the man in to give a sense of scale and change the colour of his jacket to something less offensive.

The men were all along the sides, I think to stop people wandering on to the track as it was a normal working line with commuter trains in and out every few minutes.

Nice pun Steven

Going to try the clone Russ and will also try changing the selective colour of the HiViz orange.

Thanks all

One of my favourite train photo locations. You've captured the atmosphere perfectly here.
