An interesting shot but the tones look really odd and flat on my screen.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Great work, interestingly, the image looks very detailed on 27inch Apple Thunderbolt Display

Looks a little over cooked on my laptop but all the details are there

It is a tone mapped image out of the Photomatix programme. I was trying to deal with the almost blown out window at the back

It is a lovely image, but a bit overdone on the HDR for my taste. Maybe a blended image of this and one processed normally would be an idea?

I can't stop looking at this, you just keep on seeing more and more detail, the timing of the shot even captured the light shining through the holes in the chip scoop. I like the fact that on first viewing (on my cheapo screen anyway) you're not quite sure if it is a photo or a pencil sketch - great photo!

This captures the full atmosphere of this recreated historic fish and chip shop Barrie. The chips in there were to die for - cooked in good old fashioned beef dripping.

The shot also looks very detailed on my 21.5 in. iMac! However, it reminds me of why I try to fuse rather than tone-map!

HDR can be overcooked etc; however that treatment on this B&W works well for me! Great detail and interest

Just realised that my last comment can be taken two ways! Suffice to say, I love the shot!
