Great shot, very well focussed and absolutely no shake! I bought this lens for my son's K-m and it takes sharp photos, but I don't think it is as good as my Pentax 55-300.

Your positive comments are much appreciated.

I would agree that the Sigma, in the final analysis, is probably not as sharp as the Pentax 55-300, but I suspect many users would be happy with the results from either lens most of the time.

Where the Sigma has the advantage is in its close focus ability: a very respectable, and useful, 1:2 at approximately 1m, compared with 1:4 for the Pentax.
