This works really well in black and white. The lines on the petals create a spiral effect.

I keep coming back to this because I'm not a fan of black and white flowers but something keeps drawing me back .........
it's mesmerising - I don't know how you did it but when I view the large version I lose sense of time.
That's a long winded, fancy way of me saying I've decided I really like this shot.
