He does look a bit yellow though
I wonder why you call them gnome and we kabouters, most of the time the name of mythical creatures share at least some relationship. Does some one know the etymology behind the name(s)?

Nothing mythical about gnomes. Suburban Britain is full of them, although the rich ones tend to live in Zurich.

The eyes are sharp and I felt that was the most important aspect to get sharp. I think perhaps the bottom right corner is wrong and that Mr Fothergill in the background needs to be a little closer maybe?
Stefan - he is very yellow having aged badly in the years I have had him.

OMG the evil gnome is yours? I'd get rid of it a.s.a.p. before it comes to life and murders you
Reminds me of a funny story from the local paper. A lady in town had a garden gnome stolen one night. Reported to police etc, but nothing ever came of it. Then 12 months later the gnome reappears in her garden overnight, with an envelope full of photos of said gnome posing in front of famous landmarks all over the world! Eiffel Tower, Angkor Wat, Sydney Opera House, The Pyramids, etc. (there were more but i can't remember the rest).

I have heard that story before. Are you sure it's not an urban myth. The story I heard had it being taken by cabin crew (BA no doubt) all over the place.
This gnome was a gift from my daughter so I think I'm lumbered!

There have been a number of gnome-nappings in Oz, with travel photos accompanying the return of the gnome. Bizarre. You can imagine the conversation at customs...

I`d ring the gnome office and see if there are any gnomeless folk on their register who might appreciate a second gnome in Worcestershire !

Coincidence? My wife and daughter had that very DVD at home last weeekend - for Year 11 French! They loved it.
