Without being familiar with this camera, I can tell you that this is indicating a different tome zone to the one you are currently in. If you were going on hol's to, say, Japan, you would change the WORLD TIME to TYO (Tokyo), which is normally GMT +9 hrs.
What you need to find is the "house" icon, which is where you will set the home time. This is probably available via the 4-way controller (if your camera has one). I would have thought that the HOUSE/PLANE icons were situated close by each other in the menu screen.
