Definitely possible... Think iMatch for PC does it.
Also some free & Open Source packages out there somewhere - can't remember names at moment!

When I need to change EXIF I use exif pilot (free)
... just another middle-aged guy with a hobby. I have an extreme macro learning site at extreme-macro.co.uk - Pentax-centric, your feedback and comments would be appreciated!

Is it possible to alter the time in the Exif ether one at a time or as a batch.
Would like to play them back in the order they were taken
