I cannot answer how many activations you get with it as I have not counted !
I would say mine has had light to medium use. I bought it 6 years ago...still going strong.

I have had a Pentax remote for 15+ years (I bought it with for my K10D) and it is still going on its original battery. I also have an app on my Huawei phone (called "smart remote", it came preinstalled) which I use most of the time now (I usually know where my phone is, I often mislay my remote!). The app is programmed to trigger both my Pentax and my wife's Nikon.
I also have a cabled release which I prefer when doing a lot of copy-stand work. I can loop the cable around the stand so the button is dangling somewhere obvious. I find the small remote gets lost under the other stuff on the table.
Dunno if that helps! K.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

If anyone has some experience with any form of remote Control controller I will be most grateful for any advice.
Traditionally, remote control controllers or compatible with bodies from “way back“ up to later Camera motors but it seems the K3 .3 is not compatible with those older Pentax remote controls.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Ps; are there any users of the latest Remote Control O-RC1 waterproof who could verify how many shutter activations this unit can deliver before the sealed battery is “shot”
