There is many other payment methods exist, such as credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and alternative payment platform so law or policy that requires anyone to use PayPal. There is no law or policy that requires anyone to use PayPal.

PayPal is the most cost effective solution for Pentax User, since supporting card payments is very expensive.

I went to renew it and I cannot because I REFUSE TO USE PAYPAL. How can I renew my membership?
