I'm sorry to say but I think the flash has killed the photo.
The colours are hard and not so soft as it would have been with different light.

Yes Davex, sometimes the Gods are doing everything they can to ruin your photos, so fair enough you use the flash to beat them.

I have a new years resolution! learn how to use flash more effectively
Already I can sense the excitement as i start buying up loads of flash triggers diffusers etc.
Anyway have to go celebrate Christmas now. Happy hols to all.

Just the K20 pop up, have collected a few manual units in recent times and have just ordered some wireless triggers. So, expect lots of flash technique questions over the next few months
Come to think of it perhaps I should just get Matts guide.

Sounds good Davex, hopefully you get them soon.
