I went out with Jacob for some fun in the snow. Whilst he was sledging, I got a few minutes to take some phots.
C&C welcome as always.

I like them all Ted, at last you appear to have some snow

I think numbers 3 and 4 convey the wintry feel best for me

Thanks.
Yes, we finally got snow last Tuesday. Brought the Wirral to a standstill. It is (apparently) the most snow we've had for 15 years. Great fun, but it seems to be thawing tonight.

Nice shots Fr Ted - not as good as your tree but good.

Did you get out in the 4x4? I braved the lanes in the Land Rover and it was fine thank goodness as we had to collect something from the back of beyond.

Yeah, I took the car onto a deserted industrial estate on Friday night and had a bit of a play. It handled surprisingly well, in fact, I was really impressed. I tried my best ot make it mis-behave, but it wouldn't..until I accidentally hit the brakes

As for the pics..That tree will take some beating...that's my project for this year I think.

It was the slopes that bothered me. We were going down steep narrow lanes on packed snow and ice very carefully and then back up the other side with more gusto We did meet one twit going too fast but I managed to get out of the way rather than brake.

I hadn't thought the route through and one lane had been used just enough to glaze it so I was pleased I had the knobbly tyres on!
