Wonderful point of view and mix of definitive edges with soft content.
I find it different enough to take the time to study.
The composition works VERY well. The colours are cool and that thin line draws attention.

I love the colours and the gradations in the blue/green panels. The composition is different and makes me think about what it is (pretending I didn't read the title) - the only criticism is that there are what look like a few smears or blobs near the top edge.
Great shot though - arresting

Thanks guys. The marks are dirt on the glass which I left but I could clone out.
This version is the result of the comments one of our colleagues made on flickr and I am very grateful as they improved the shot no end!

Interesting abstract, and I like the colours - what was behind the window? It looks too blue-ish to be foliage.

i-berg, how literal to ask
It was either Debenhams a department store or an empty shop, I can't recall. They did this wonderful refurbishment of some old mills (incidentally destroying the original floors I believe) and then could only let half of them and they were lucky that Debenhams took a fancy to one I think.

As they say Mike - curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back...

Wonderful colour. I love abstract pictures, Mike. We don't see enough of them on this site. My stuff is altogether too conventional.
