Why can't Pentax create a new DSLR to compete with Canon....

They would have had accusations of bad technique, pixel peeping, expecting the impossible, at the very least.
At least Canon seems to have acknowledged the problem.

yeah...
my point was Pentax is no worse than the others.....they got thier share of technical difficulties too....
