in case you weren't aware they are opening the abbey up later and it is going to be illuminated in various colours - could be good

I don't think I'll be there this time although a final decision has not yet been made.
If I do go it'll be with some members from DPS (Canon and Nikon users included) and we'll be in the usual caff just after 8am for bacon sarnies. Then I'll be at the bottom of the steps at 10.30ish.

I'm here already, well not actually in Whitby, just up the road from this place:
Breakfast is between 8.30-9.00 and then we have to get the finery on and trek into Whitby and find somewhere to park.....see you all about 5pm

Hope to bump in to the usual suspects and even some new blood (blatant goth reference)
I will aim for the Abbey steps between 9 and 9.30 depending on where I can park the car - fingers crossed not virtually in Sandsend like last time!
Hope the weather stays fine so I can play with the new toy that arrived this week - no not a K3 - just another lens
