It's those latent Yorkshire genes creeping to the surface, I hope you all have a great time.

I'll be there on Saturday. Usual coffee shop (for bacon butties) at 8am.
This will be the first outing for the K5s among us.
The two weeekends make it more complicated but I'll be at the first one, as arranged all along. Pity, it seems I'll miss the steampunks.

I think anyone considering which weekend to go on should just do a search for possible accomodation in the Whitby area. I know, I was trying for over an hour last night and once again I have ended up in Scarborough, the odd couple left in Whitby were far beyoind my budget.

I just did a quick search after reading Johns post and there are more rooms available in Whitby over the second weekend than the first and some were quite reasonable, I think that shows which weekend will be the most poular.

I'm there for the weekend (in March) but I'll only be out and about on the Saturday because my other half WHO IS READING THIS AS I'M TYPING is the nicest person in the world and will need my attention on the Sunday!

And reading the websites the Dark Daisy event is a fringe event. Not saying it will or won't be good but I feel most people will be there for the 'official' event.

Sorry - Technoblurb's just informed me of the meet as I've been neglecting the forum rather. Afraid I can't make it as I've gone and slipped a disc, so am not out and about much at the moment (or able to use the computer much)
Hope you have a good meet though. Hope to see lots of good pics on the site afterwards
