You must look weird with that "fixture" on your body!

After a sleepless night thinking about how I can get round making my new £17 camera bag redundant I have decided the best way is to buy a K-7 and a 21mm LTD ... this way I can carry on using it plus with the added space saved by buying the K-7 I can now probably get my 50mm f1.4 in as well

No the K-7 is also smaller and an upgrade instead of a downgrade, you even had one so why didn't you thought about it?
I think he had

Me neither Stefan, but i recently read somewhere that it will focus down to 1cmI could not manage that though, but i wanted to try it out. These are literaly ''snaps'' i took this morning,so it indicates what would be possible with more application.Tony.

It surely sparkles my interest now but still want to get the DA17-70 first, better walk around lens and i need one on holiday.
Tony, I see you have the 40ltd and the 35ltd, which one do you prefer the most?
I bought the 40 over the 35 since I didn't need macro since i have the 100mm and i have been told that bokeh with normall shooting isn't that nice. Any comments on that when comparing the two?
Btw the 40ltd is bloody fast with focusing.

There is no way on earth the 21mm will focus anything like 1 cm. I think you missed a zero, possibly 10cm.Me neither Stefan, but i recently read somewhere that it will focus down to 1cmI could not manage that though, but i wanted to try it out. These are literaly ''snaps'' i took this morning,so it indicates what would be possible with more application.Tony.

Hi Stefan,I would say the above is about right.I found out where i read about the 1cm distance it was the last issue PU magazine!Regardless of that though it's a great lens, and along with the 35 and 40ltd's i am eagerly awaiting a 4/3rd's samsung+ K mount adaptor.mikew wrote:

For a couple of months now 95% of my pics have been with my manual lenses,so i have neglected the Ltd's.I find the 35 and 40 very different in character, the 35 being a great walk about, very close static macro. The 40 i like for snap shooting street, and close portrait. But at the moment it's Zeiss and Voigtlander for handling, bokeh. The Lilly pic in the gallery is with the 35 mac, just to give you an idea.
