I got an MZ-60 from Ebay for £20, and I really enjoy using it. Works fantastically well with my DA*50-135.

I have the MZ-10 and I have to admit that it's never in use anymore.
It only carries a lens for the lack of lens- and camera hoods.

Still fancy the FA80-320.
I presume that it would autofocus on my K200D and my MZ30 which I have just acquired.I could be wrong though, if I dont get on with film I could keep it for the K200D.

All Pentax AF lenses will AF on your cameras, including the 80-320mm. This lens received excellent reviews in the press and is a good one, probably slightly better than the 100-300mm.

The MZ-5 is a nice camera, but don't they have an inherent fault that limits their lifespan?? something to do with the mirror box?

1998. Yes, indeed! A slip of the keyboard.....
My MZ5 and MZ3 cameras are both still going strong. Sometimes faults may occur, but not to all of them and if the OP buys from SRS there's that useful guarantee period.
For £25.00 how wrong can it be?

I've had a few pass through my hands and the common fault is that all bar one of them had a broken pop-up flash. The inner spring breaks (or becomes unhooked) and the popping stops...

All the MZ series can suffer from the flash spring failing, but I've never had one that has,

I must be a magnet for them then.
But I've only had it with MZ5's - never on one of the other models. There was a poorly thought-out design in there somewhere... Still, at least the rest of the camera isn't effected so you can always just use an external flash gun.
