Where were you, Pentax?

Sue and I have just come back from the NEC Focus on Imaging show.

We would have liked to handle the *istD ans negotiate a price but Pentax were nowhere to be seen. This was a huge show - why weren't you there?

Personally, I think this was a big mistake. You need to be seen to make the running in this very competitive world.

We are disappointed.

I also went to Focus today and looked for a Pentax stand. I too was disappointed. They ought to have been there for their current users and potential new customers. We can only assume that they could not afford the expenditure, in the current climate.
Lets hope that the rumoured lower price digital slr will soon emerge. Had they attended they could have given a boost to the rumour.

I was there too!
I knew Pentax weren't going to be there from the exhibitor's list but was also disappointed not to play with a *istD

I would also like to have seen more conventional gear on show (as in previous years) but they were mostly concentrating on digital and printing.
