Pentax PF-65? Spotting Scope

Pentax currently offers the PF80 and PF 100 spotting scopes (80mm and 100mm aperatures respectively). As a birder, I would sure like to see a lighter, more compact version that still accepts 1 1/4 inch astronomical eyepieces. The recent release of 65mm scopes by Swarovski and Zeiss (not to mention prior releases by Swift, Kowa, and Leica) have been an immediate hit with birders and are now dominating the spotting scope market for this large group of users. Any chance Pentax will get back in the game with a 65mm (or so) angled version of its great PF scope?
