Where is Uffes?

Since he won the weekly competition with a superb bird picture early in January we haven't heard from Uffes. He is listed as last logging in on January 20.
This was just after he'd judged the competition 'Togetherness' and we had a large amount of debate, some of it quite critical, on why he hadn't done comments on each picture.
It would be a terrible shame if he's been angered or scared off because it's obvious from the quality of his winning picture that he has a lot to contribute to PU.

I guess we have to get used to the fact, that not everyone likes to get active on the forum itself.
While active as a poster in the gallery, Uffes hasn't contributed to the forum itself. You can't force people, maybe the language barrier is a problem, or he just isn't the chatty type. I don't think the discussion scared him away. That wasn't personal. But merely an attempt to prevent it from happening again.

On a personal note, I have decided not to take part in that discussion any more. Now or in the future. If once in a long period of time (1:80 weeks) we have such a little inconvenience, so be it.

Martinn has a good point. On most of the forums I'm on ( yes..I'm addicted ) there are a core of members who post regularly, but most of the registered users only appear once in a blue moon. Maybe Uffes is one of them...I do hope so.
