A place to discuss, moan or rave about this weeks subject. Good luck everybody.
Best regards,

Martin.

First frozen water (just when the weather is warming up again) and now bicycles. But hey, he had to come up with two themes in short succession. It could have been worse, he could have chosen caravans

No, more seriously, Martin, good themes. I don't think I have any bicycle shots in my archives that are worth submitting (if I have anything at all). And the frozen water is a bit elusive at the moment. I have something in the freezer as a backup plan but there is some time and maybe the weather is turning colder before the end of the competition period.

Bicycles and frozen water are probably more prevalent in The Netherlands

Now, if the subject had been Floodwater

There's an idea, I have to find a bicycle in frozen water and can kill two birds with one shutter action...

No rule against doing that

It would be interesting to see how Martin would change his comments for the same image submitted for two different themes

Prieni: Now there's an idea. I've got a small model bike I could fit in the freezer. I might come up with something else, but if that doesn't work out, can I nick your idea?

Robert.

Be my guest, Rob. Even if I would find a suitable bike (model or real), we still would end up with different shots. Fair game.

Judging by your last entry (the Ford Escorts) I'm looking forward to that one. If you come up with something else I still would like to see that one .

That's fine then .

Although I'd like to take credit for the Ford Escorts, it was actually Hefty1 - I did the Russian dolls.

I sympathise. I went to ask a colleague a question this morning and couldn't remember it when I got to his office . Of course, it came back straight away when I got back to my office...

Probably something like:
Fortnightly comp: I like the image. To bad about the bike. If you had cloned it out it would be a winner.

weekly comp: i like it very much. To bad about the ice. If...........

Happy shooting boys.

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.
