So, I'm thinking of selling my FA 50mm f/1.4 to buy a Sigma 30mm f/1.4. What's my lens worth / what could I reasonably expect for it? It's mint+ with box and manual.

The only one I have in my database sold a year ago, boxed, at £163. Prices have gone up however. There are three completed listings showing now on ebay at £186.62, £189.00 and £200.96. The latter was boxed.

Damn, while I was pondering it, http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260569616629&ssPageName=ADME:B... went up and was sold. Piss me right off, I was about to pull the trigger there.

One thing I have learnt about ebay, there is always another one. Maybe not today, maybe not next week, but there is always, eventually, another one.

It would have been close to being a straight swap for your FA as well...
