According to our much loved Met. Office, the weather is about to dramatically improve over the next few weeks as that bloody jetstream moves north and we finally get some sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With this in mind, I'm interested to know how all the PU members are going to take advantage of this 'window of opportunity'?

Best wishes
David

Wear shorts

Put the rain cover back in the bottom of my Lowepro bag

Charge batteries

Clean lenses

NOT buy those WR lenses (just yet).

Believe it when it happens.

(19C at 2200 hours here though in Chesterfield tonight, very odd!)

Get out more!

The Temperature hit the 30s with blue skies and bright sunshine in the SW of France, It's actually too hot to do anything.
Being lying on a deck chair under the shade of the tree, drinking ice tea, that's about the best I can do.

Buy a 5 stop ND filter
That should put the gloom back into any photograph.

Spray some water droplets onto the front lens, to make the shots more lifelike.

Change the time on the camera by 12 hours and wait until after sunset to take your snaps. Exif will then suggest a daytime shot.

Put the camaera away until it settles down again

I'm going to wear a luminescent-green "mankini" (like the one Borat wears in his movie), and drape my Kr around my neck. I'll then walk around heathrow's terminal buildings like that, waiting for the first person to say "Nice camera!!.. Are Pentax's better than Nikon and Canon??"

I hope it's nice there next week because I'm gracing Wales with my presence again.

Fire up the barbie if it isn't rusted shut.
Attack the weed patch that was once my garden. Why do weeds grow three times as fast as bought in plants?
Take the grandkids to the zoo.

Cripes I'm exhausted just reading my list.

Actually I'll probably hide indoors in the cool as I usually do when the temps stagger above about 20C.
