I'm trying to find out if anyone knows of a Pentax bridge camera. My brother is planning a purchase around Christmas time but said the he does not want a DSLR, he wants something smaller and easier to use.

He's asked me to help find something. I'm going to do some looking but thought i'd ask here first.

The X70 and X90 were excellent bridge cameras. Although now discontinued, you might well find some second hand examples.

An alternative might be the diminutive and excellent Pentax Q, perhaps in the two lens kit that includes an 8.5mm f1.9 standatd prime plus a 5-15mm standard zoom.

You can still find the X90 new from several online retailers including
play.com - £299
amazon - £269

Used tend to go for around the £150 mark - but as one of our members discovered recently - you can occasionally get a real bargain!

That's a bargain by the looks of it, although the picture of the camera is weird and distorted.

If you're lucky that might put people off long enough for you to snatch it up.
