What are you going to do when the SUN COMES OUT!
We have our holiday booked for 10.8 hope the weather is good we will still be in Wales
I will get out as often as possible if the sun be shining
I hope it's nice there next week because I'm gracing Wales with my presence again.
I also hope the weather holds up for you Charlotte
Gareth I think that's a myth that's spread around to keep the English out of Wales. It didn't rain at all when I was over there last year.
Thanks Stuey

Not a myth but a statistic - a worse sort of lie!
A few drops of rain anywhere in wales during a 24hr period can be classed as a day of rain.
In any case the Welsh scenery is such that there's little hope of the deception keeping the English out.

Where I live, we get around 300 days of sun per year.
That's 300 days of clear blue skies with not a cloud in sight.
But being a brit, I struggle to enjoy summer afternoons here when temperatures recently nudged 40c, and expected to reach the mid 40's in late July/early August. When it's that hot, the only thing I can do is go to sleep and wake when it cools down again. Any physical work like pool cleaning or gardening is limited to the early mornings or just before the light fades later in the day.
We've had absolutely no rain for months now. No green grass left, it's all parched. Even the weeds are looking a bit sorry for themselves. We have had a few isolated showers but none of them anywhere close to me.
In fact, I might just book a holiday in Wales soon too, to get some guaranteed rain. It always has any time I've ever been there, and I've been quite a few times, though not in recent years. I don't suppose much has changed weather-wise.
You know in Wales we like the rain, not by choice, we just get rain 364 days a year
Thats true ,along with Scotland, Ireland the lake district, manchester oh and England.

You (anybody) can always pay a visit to Spain for some sun, we need a boost in tourism for our economy.
Many break-ins round your way at the moment Peter?
Sounds like there is a mini crime wave in our area, neighbours came home the other week to find 2 men ransacking their villa. They legged it up the verde but made a hell of a mess as well as pinching all her jewellery (and 500 Euros of ours we had left with them to do some work).
I can imagine crime is on the increase in most of Europe though with many people having to resort to crime to feed themselves and their families.
Not good times for many.
I won't discuss my security arrangements for obvious reasons, but suffice it to say, I'm well protected against intruders, and if anybody were to get in to my place, they can be sure they won't get out again.
My army of cats will keep 'em out anyway, especially Benji, my Bengal Tiger. He's such a softy, loves all nationalities, but he can't eat more than two at one sitting. If there are any more, he'll stick them up a tree for a snack later.

That's a poor excuse used by criminals to justify their lifestyle.

you mean they'll be locked in, or dead?
Surely if they get in, getting them out fast would be best and you won't get blood on things.

That may be true of drug abusing criminals, but the 'new age' criminals may have more humane reasons for resorting to crime. I'm not condoning or justifying it, but that's life, and has been since the dawn of man.
Let's not forget, as we are so often reminded, that this is a photography forum and no other subject matter can be discussed here.

Kill half the garden as it has been overcome with weeds.
Cut the hedge.
Take four macro lenses onto a sedum roof for a shootout.
Retreat as does Gwyn when the temperature and UV threaten my delicate complexion and constitution.
