... and chuffed to find out I have won photo of the week on Calumet

I would never of dreamed when I first got my Pentax and joined this forum last September that I would be able to achieve something like this. I must say that it is this forum and it's members who have helped me progress in Photography. So thankyou all, this is as much for you as me.

Well done Jim.

You may be correct Gareth, but the T&C's seem to be much the same for all these sorts of thing. Surely it would only really apply if the entrant intended to make money from the image in the first place.

The model for 14th July, is that one Timbo has used before?

And it's not an exclusive license or 'we can sell it as if we owned it' licence.

Calumet are a real 'Pro Shop' and they would not want to upset their target market.

Well done, goes to show great photgraphy does not equate to owning Canikons
K5iis and a couple of lenses.

Well done.

The T&C are OK for this sort of thing. They limit the use of the photo to their website and e-news. Quite limited compared to some competitions. If they didn't ask for at least that, they couldn't put the winning photo on their website, and what would be the point of that?

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
