I've just had another look at the entries and I think I agree with Martin. For me the best one is mono.

He did on the mono part.
For me the entrie of Beatnikbertie was the best.
Directly followed by Prieni and Davidtrout. (can't make up my mind which second and third,though.......Tough call.
I sure hope the judge will add some comments

My favourite wasn't the same one as the judge or Martin although it was black and white. It was Tony O's 'A Quiet Moment Together'. I liked the use of so much space in the front of the picture which isolated the couple sitting near the window and somehow made them appear closer. Apart from the emotional content the photograph was of a very high quality.

My favourite was yours, David, but perhaps I was biased by Durham Cathedral, my favourite building.
I also really liked the footprints on the beach, and quite a few others... Glad I didn't have to judge!

I'm just wondering, that Uffes found the idea of commenting on all those pics in English a bit daunting.He has been thrown in the deep end rather early(due to his great pictures!)
That been said it is a bit of let down,perhaps we can encourage him to give us 2nd & 3rd with a few comments?

Prieni's shot for me, although I might have cropped it a 'tad' more.
