Stunning landscape work, Roy. Great to see someone working in a different way. I'd have used the tree to frame the view of those lovely mountains: you make the tree the subject of the picture.
It all works for me: the sky, that strong line of the wall, the middle ground, strangely without snow.

I did try using the tree as a frame also,but the lighting which was behind the tree when using it as a frame was too harsh ,so decided to use it to my advantage in lighting the tree from the right hand side.
Very strange how there is no snow in the middle ground dont know why this should be.
