Can I say that you've certainly nailed the monochrome conversion thing which caused you such angst a week or two ago, Emms. This is an exemplary, crisp, contrasty photograph with what appears to be a fine range of tones and good sharpness. Should be in your Gallery set!

Emma this is a very unusual house, this is a good document and that is how I view this image as a documentary one. Nice one.

Mhuni, as a document I don't have a problem with the chairs, I feel they add a little drama to the scene, your quite right.
They'll probably be viewed as interesting items of a bygone age in the future.
