Excellent set of pictures. That Bigma lens seems to be a must for this kind of photography, gets you right into the action for dramatic effect.

What show?

Thursday (the one I didn't bother attending because of the Vulcan landing) was the only day where everything flew. Friday was pretty grey and wet but a couple of planes went up, Sarurday nothing apart from one of the Black Cat helicopters and Sunday one Matador and the wing walkers flew .. that was it.

3 more of the Vulcan.

The Vulcan was also due to make an appearance at Silverstone on Saturday (an extra during the touring car meet) but didn't make it.

Over the weekend, We did get an aerobatic show, a P51 mustang, the Lancaster, the red devils & half a red arrow display (apparently curtailed by gliders straying into their airspace!) all with great weather.

Typically I'd left my camera at home!
